At Last, Bonfires Night is Here
We have just bid farewell to Halloween and Bonfires night is literally looming around the corner!
Guy Fawkes is celebrated to this day by setting off fireworks, lighting bonfires and often involves setting alight a homemade dummy or scarecrow of Guy Fawkes himself. This night is a reminder of that night around 400 years ago, a celebration of the explosive drama and the actual failure of Guy Fawkes evil plot to murder King James and blow up Parliament (Gunpowder plot.)
What better excuse to stand back, relax with friends and family and simply enjoy spectacular firework displays whilst consuming comforting and delicious nosh?

Regardless of the occasion, food is always an integral and often the most important part of any form of social get together. Who wouldn’t want to welcome in the chilly frosty evenings and take advantage of warm, scrumptious drinks accompanied by delicious hearty food?
Surely, you don’t want to put yourself through the rigmarole of shopping and then slaving over a hot stove when there are so many other important things to remember and so much fun to be had!

Tomato and Fresh Basil Soup with Bread Rolls
To warm your guests up, you simply can’t go wrong with a warm, comforting, creamy soul pleasing bowl of soup.
Shown below is our creamy, savoury and rich Tomato and Fresh Basil soup served in insulated cups and accompanied by fresh bread rolls & butter.
The soup will be delivered in a thermos flask to retain its temperature. All you have to do is open the lid, pour and serve.

Baby Jacket Potatoes filled with British Cheddar Cheese
It goes without saying; you can’t truly celebrate Guy Fawkes Night without a jacket potato.
Go Traditional in flavour but not in size, you will not go wrong with our baby jacket potatoes.
Please note that our hot canapé selection will need one of our well-trained chefs (Additional charge) at your premises to ensure a beautiful presentation and that the exquisite taste remains intact.
Hot Sausage Baps
A bonfire without a sausage insight wouldn’t be the norm.
Fear not, we have Soft white baps filled with succulent premium pork sausages and mixed herbs.
This will be delivered warm and is served with brown sauce and tomato ketchup.

Sausages with Mash and Caramelized Shallot Gravy
There is nothing better than to warm your cockles with our posh mini-meals. Bowls exploding with bursts full of delicious flavours are an effective and stylish way to feed any number of your guests or clients much more informally, without the hassle of having to sit down.
Our juicy Sausages are complemented by our smooth creamy Mash and rich caramelized Shallot Gravy comes highly recommended and is, of course, a delight to eat on a chilly evening.
Strawberry and marshmallow skewers
These luxurious one bite dessert bombs consist of the finest British strawberries together with a soft succulent marshmallow merged on a mini skewer and sealed with rich Belgian chocolate. To give it that extra special touch, we drizzle white Belgian chocolate over the top which adds just a little touch of extra sweetness.
Whether young or old who doesn’t love a little something sweet? To avoid disappointment, be sure not to toast these tempting treats on the bonfire for too long!
Fun facts for you:
- It was illegal NOT to celebrate Bonfire night in Britain.
- It was not permitted to set off fireworks or light bonfires during both World Wars 1 and 2. This was to protect people from revealing their whereabouts.
- Can you believe that there is actually an Island named after Guy Fawkes?
