We're a long way from Treviso in Italy but our Tiramisu tastes just as good (if not better) than the one's made in Italy.  (OK so Wandsworth doesn't sound as romantic as Treviso but you understand what I'm saying...) Essentially this is a classic Italian light dessert made from a soft vanilla sponge soaked in little coffee with silky soft mascarpone in the middle and on the top. We dust ours with cocoa and finish with some vanilla cream - its absolutely beautiful.
